1 batch Sloppy Joe Sauce (Homemade or 15 ounces store-bought)
6 pieces Frozen Texas Toast
1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
Preparing the Sloppy Joe Filling:
Cooking the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the lean ground beef until it’s browned and no longer pink. Use a wooden spoon to break up the beef into small crumbles as it cooks.
Adding the Onion: Once the ground beef is cooked, add the finely chopped onion to the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the onion is softened and translucent.
Sloppy Joe Sauce: Pour the Sloppy Joe sauce over the cooked ground beef and onion mixture. Stir well to combine, ensuring that the meat is evenly coated in the flavorful sauce. Allow the mixture to simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
